Giuseppe Fais shares how PALFINGER fuels his drive for innovation and continuous improvement.

"I've been with PALFINGER for just over two years, and during this time, I've found that my personal approach to my work aligns well with the company's ethos. In my role as Head of Engineering for KBC Cranes, I'm driven by a desire for continuous learning and skill improvement. I actively seek to take on more responsibility and always aim higher, fueled by the innovative spirit of engineering and the need to understand the broader picture: How all the pieces of our work fit together.

Fostering strong teamwork and collaboration is something I truly enjoy. I find satisfaction in having a clear vision and influencing the development of our organization and products. This involves working effectively with colleagues, both within my department and across different countries.

Pushing for innovation and new ideas is also a key motivator for me. I'm energized by the impact engineering has on the company and strive to improve processes and think ahead. I experience the creation of 'what's next' by actively grasping the opportunities within PALFINGER and contributing to a concrete product roadmap, turning aspirations into reality.

What makes me proud to work here is the encouragement to constantly improve. PALFINGER provides the freedom and environment to push boundaries and evolve the organization in more effective ways. This drive to be better feels like it's part of my DNA, and the company genuinely supports this self-motivation.

If I had one message for the world about why someone should consider PALFINGER, it would be this: We are in a strong development phase. The opportunities here are challenging but extremely rewarding, especially for young engineers who want to make a significant contribution and be challenged. There's a culture of continuous improvement and a clear vision that makes working here incredibly meaningful. I'm proud of the technical complexity and the quality of our products, and I value the people, the technology, and the international environment.
