"I've been with PALFINGER for the past seven years, and it's been a journey of continuous learning and improvement. As a Production Planner, my role is to coordinate sales orders, material availability, production capacity, and timelines to keep production running efficiently and ensure our products are delivered on time.
What motivates me most is seeing a carefully planned schedule come to life. There are many decisions happening behind the scenes, from optimizing production sequences to coordinating with procurement, warehousing, and production teams to make the best use of available resources. When everything comes together and we see a successful delivery, it's very rewarding to know that my planning has contributed to that result.
For me, Reach Out means breaking down barriers between departments and working together to solve problems. When incomplete material kits started affecting production schedules, I worked closely with the procurement team and shared demand forecasts and timelines well in advance. By improving our planning accuracy together, we were able to create a smoother and more reliable production process.
I also see Lifetime Excellence as continuously looking for better ways to work. By working closely with the sales team to identify urgent orders earlier and prepare materials in advance, I helped reduce last-minute disruptions and create a more stable production process. I believe small improvements made today can lead to lasting results tomorrow.
After seven years at PALFINGER, what stands out most to me is the culture of trust and continuous improvement. People are encouraged to speak up, share their ideas, and focus on improving processes rather than assigning blame. Having that kind of support has helped me stay calm under pressure and continue growing through every new challenge.
What makes me most proud is knowing that my work enables others to succeed. Production planning may happen behind the scenes, but every hook loader that leaves the factory is the result of strong teamwork. Knowing that our products ultimately contribute to cleaner and more sustainable communities around the world makes my work even more meaningful.
