Two editions of the PALFINGER corporate magazine received recognition at the 2026 Best of Corporate Print Award in Hamburg: the 2025 edition “The Beauty of Transformation” won gold, while the current 2026 edition “Reach Higher” took silver. Both publications impressed the jury in the “B2B Industry / Automotive / Transport & Logistics” category.

“A wonderful cover design. The description ‘coffee table magazine’ is perfectly fitting. The bold editorial design, characterized by striking colors and innovative typography, runs consistently throughout the publication. At times it may even be a little provocative, but that is exactly why it aligns so well with the topic. Exceptionally well executed.” This was the jury’s reasoning for awarding gold to “The Beauty of Transformation”.

The journalistic and design quality of the publications as well as their relevance to the respective target group were key evaluation criteria for the Best of Corporate Print Award (BCP) in Hamburg. A total of 35 print titles were nominated for this year.

Both award-winning magazines focused on translating PALFINGER’s strategic topics into personal stories, diverse perspectives and compelling insights into the company.

Guiding and explaining change

“With our Strategy 2030+, we have set the course for our company for the years ahead. What matters now is making this path understandable, providing guidance and bringing people along with us,” says Armin Schlamp, VP Global Marketing & Communications at PALFINGER. “This is precisely where our corporate magazines make a difference. Winning gold and silver confirms our ambition to Lifetime Excellence in our communications as well.”

In fall 2025, PALFINGER presented its new strategy, “Reach Higher – Strategy 2030+”. The two corporate magazines accompany this journey: published in March 2025, “The Beauty of Transformation” addressed the need for change and the opportunities it brings. One year later, “Reach Higher” built on this theme, focusing on the new strategy and its implementation at PALFINGER.

Making transformation tangible

Profound changes create opportunities, but also uncertainty. “The Beauty of Transformation” explores this tension and shows how it can be actively shaped to open up new perspectives.

The gold-winning magazine approaches the topic in three chapters: the first explores what triggers and drives transformation, the second focuses on how PALFINGER is addressing the challenges it brings, and the third looks ahead to the future. Essays, reports, interviews and portraits provide a varied reading experience. Selected stories were also continued across various online channels.

This sense of change is also reflected throughout the magazine’s visual language, with a consistent use of color, form and imagery. This approach is particularly evident on the cover: the lenticular foil’s tilt effect makes transformation immediately visible, while different viewing angles reveal unexpected perspectives.

Both award-winning magazines were created in collaboration with Grayling Austria for the editorial concept and content, and Strichpunkt Identity for the design and layout.
