From 5th until 8th of June EPSILON will be presenting several product innovations on Elmia Wood in Jönköping/Sweden, the worldwide biggest timber fair. On booth number 904 in the wood area, we will present the EPSCAB cabin in a new way of comfort and in a new, modern design. These innovations have been implemented in collaboration with an industry designer to get the most professional outcome.
EPSILON’s EPSCAB is the only cabin available with an air-suspended seat, which brings together with the seat heating unprecedented standard. EPSILON cabins are being painted in a 3-stage-system comprising KTL prime coat, powder coating and white top painting of the whole cabin with exception of the door, which is being painted in black. From now on our cabins can be ordered with a hydraulic servo control, instead of the conventional manual control. Control executed as before by means of two joysticks and two foot pedals (2+2) or four levers and two foot pedals (4+2). The servo control reduces the expenditure of energy of the operator, as control works without links and is therefore free of play. Operation of the crane is characterized by most accurate reaction.
Moreover EPSILON has focused on developing controls suitable for all customers. Hence the result is a wide variety of electro-hydraulic joysticks: mini joysticks with three proportional functions, mini joysticks with three proportional and additional functions, large joysticks with additional functions and joysticks with trigger for the third proportional function.
Guided via two plungers the cabin lift is maintenance free and gives the operator a safe feeling when manipulating.
Another new feature is that all types of cabins can be ordered with air conditioning system as option and that there are new LED lights available with 2600 Lumens each.
Of course also new EPSCAB has all known and proven features available, as there are Radio with RDS, water or diesel heater, windscreen wiper, front window protection, front window made of LEXAN, as well as front and side door.
In addition to the standard model, which comes with external guided hoses, standard link, swing break and H132 rotator of Indexator, the new E+P system – applied for patent – describes a big highlight of the EPSOLUTION series. It is a telescopic solution, a complete new development within the harvester sector and available as an option to the existing model. “E+P” stands for “endless + protected”. By means of a link-rotator-system, which has been a unique innovation so far, the boom’s tip is linked with the felling aggregate, whereby several hydraulic and electric lines are guided internal and protected. Thus a breakdown of the device caused by defect hoses and cables shall be prevented. The extended model description is M160H100EP. The term E+P system reflects, as well as approved solutions like EPSCOPE and EPSLINK or EPSOLUTION in general, innovative solutions made by EPSILON.
