PALFINGER EPSILON at biggest timber fairs in Russia
Derevoobrabotka Siblespolzovanie 2012
From September 4th until September 7th one of the biggest timber equipment fairs, Derevoobrabotka Siblespolzovanie 2012, took place in Irkutsk (Siberia). PALFINGER EPSILON cranes have successfully been presented by the official dealer of the Siberian Federal District, Bratsk-Avtodisel-Service.
The presented timber truck with trailer on the very popular chassis КАMAZ 43118 equipped with PALFINGER EPSILON M100L97 caught visitor’s attention. This model is used for loading, unloading and transporting of timber with a length of 4 to 6 m. PALFINGER EPSILON M100L97 is capable to work with a weight of 960 kg on the maximum outreach of 9.7 m. The crane is rear mounted, equipped with a FG43 grab and top seat with adjustable distance from the column.
The KAMAZ 43118 chassis with wheel formula 6 x 6 and mounted crane on it has a capacity up to 12 t that emphasizes the advantages during transport. It’s four-wheel drive enables the timber truck to work even in difficult accessible areas of Russia. This truck is considered to be the perfect one for timber off road transport.
Tehnodrev Siberia 2012
Shortly after the biggest timber event of Russia, VI International fair Tehnodrev Siberia 2012 took place. Tehnodrev Siberia focuses on advanced technologies and equipment of timber harvesting.
PALFINGER EPSILON dealer LLC ТES demonstrated a timber truck on KAMAZ chassis as well in the outside area, equipped with PALFINGER EPSILON M110Z96 and grab FG43. When talking with crane operators the main issue when transporting timber is the risk to damage high pressure hoses. EPSILON professionally solved this problem with EPSLINK and EPSCOPE systems.
At the indoor stands the companies LLC V-Kran and Novtrak offered visitors the opportunity to get in touch with the current PALFINGER EPSILON product line as well as information and advantages of the cranes produced by the Austrian manufacturer.
