APF Show 2012 – EPSILON at Great Britain’s biggest exhibition in forestry
There were a record number of exhibitors, up 15 % on 2010 and an advance in ticket sales of 300 % compared to the 2010 show – this was Great Britain’s biggest exhibition in forestry in 2012. From September 13th until September 15th exhibitors from all over the world presented numerous innovations of the forestry sector in Alcester, Warwickshire.
A huge range of new machinery and equipment never before seen in the UK has been launched at the show by exhibitors from as far afield as Australia, America, Canada, Slovenia, Latvia and Italy. Moreover visitors could watch great performances at the World Logging as well as UK Forwarder Driving Championships. Outreach Limited, general dealer of timber and recycling cranes in Great Britain, presented EPSILON and its products for forestry applications there. The exposed models, a M110L with approved EPSCAB cabin, as well as a M120L with top seat and another M120L with pneumatic EPSHOOD, were all built up on end customers’ trucks. Completed by FG grabs in the new, white design the presence all in all registered big success.
With 270 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors a new record has been established. Exhibition Director, Mike Box, commenting on the record numbers said “We are obviously delighted with the increases in exhibitor numbers. APF Exhibition is again proving itself to be the place for exhibitors and interested persons to catch up on the latest industry news in the UK.”
