Target Cost Analyst - Loader Cranes (f/m/d)

Our Target Costing team supports development and existing product projects with the clear goal of creating cost transparency, achieving target costs, and bringing successful products to market.

As a Target Costing Analyst – Loader Cranes (m/f/d), you will support several development and cost-down projects end-to-end. You will analyse cost structures, identify cost drivers, and work with cross-functional teams to develop specific cost-down measures. In addition to operational project work, you will actively contribute to the further development of standards, methods, and processes in Target Costing in order to continuously increase the efficiency, comparability, and impact of our contribution.

The clear focus of the role is on cost analysis and understanding how costs arise – communication and collaboration are the means to enable effective decision-making.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse cost structures and identify cost drivers across multiple product lines
• Support development and industrialisation projects as a cost challenger and sparring partner
• Derive and implement specific cost-down potential to achieve target costs
• Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Product Management
• Prepare cost analyses and reports, and further develop Target Costing standards and methods

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS 

• Completed technical or technical-commercial education (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university), e.g. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
• Strong understanding of cost structures, costing methodologies, and data-driven analyses, or at least 3 years of professional experience in similar positions
• An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Experience working with Engineering, Purchasing, or Production
• Very good German and English language skills, as well as confident use of SAP, Excel, or Power BI

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
