Engineer for Tuning Center projects and SAP Variant Configuration (f/m/d)

Within the Product Line AWP, you as Engineer for Tuning Center projects are responsible to take care of Tuning center activities / Sales projects. You evaluate the feasibility - from technical perspective – of all requests from Sales Team and execute them according to defined timeline after final approval from Product Management.

The analysis of all needed tasks to complete the project, the Design of components, assemblies and drawings in Creo and related Bill of Materials in SAP is your main task.

In your role you are responsible to support Sales requests and create – out of Tuning Center projects – solutions or models which can be finally serialized.

In your second Role as a Specialist SAP Variant Configuration you develop the full variant configuration in the classic method (LO-VC) and support the implementation of the AVC method. In your responsibility is the implementation of all Business Models for Customer oriented Solutions. You support Product & Project Management during creation of Variant Specification Sheets and take Ownership after Gate 3. In your role you support the R&D Department during implementation of the configuration logic and e-BoM development.

You work in international Project groups in different locations global virtual or in presence.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creation of an overview of all relevant activities which contribute to finalize the project
• Design of Aluminum, Steel and Composite components, assemblies and drawings in Creo and Creation of Bill of Materials
• Interface to external and internal Departments like Serial development, Prototype, Assembly, Hydraulic, Electric, Software, Sales and Product Management
• Variant configuration for various Product Solutions in SAP S/4 Hana and Maintenance of Variant Specification Sheets
• Transfer of Customer, Sales and Product Management Requirements into Configuration logic and Represent Function in Projects and steering committees

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree or higher education in a technical profession
• Good CAD knowledge preferable in Creo and good SAP knowledge in S/4 Hana and R/3 ECC
• Good Product knowledge and good knowledge of Microsoft’s package (mainly MS Teams, MS Office)
• Self-motivation, structured and high work ethics
• Fluent Italian and Business English is mandatory
