Explore the PK 25.001 M Up Close
A highlight at our SMM booth will be the PK 25.001 M fully foldable knuckle boom crane. PALFINGER MARINE took up the challenge of further improving performance by redesigning its slewing cylinder foldable knuckle boom crane series. The PK 25.001 M is part of the latest PK slewing cylinder generation.
Complying with CE conformity requirements, the PK 25.001 M offers several key advantages, including optimized lifting geometry. The single power link system featured on the crane series ensures reliable operation on crew transfer vessels (CTV) as well as in various applications such as aquaculture.
In addition, the design enables a higher working range of up to 80 degrees, combined with increased lifting capacity in steep and commonly used working positions. The crane also features a highly compact parking position and delivers fast and steady operating speeds.

Designed for Demanding Lifting Operations at Sea
PFM RangeWe are gearing up to introduce our new heavy-duty foldable knuckle boom cranes - the PFM 1200, PFM 3700 and PFM 4800 - to the industry at SMM Hamburg.
The target markets for these crane models include service vessels and workboats operating in aquaculture, pipeline handling, anchor handling, and similar jobs.
In addition, the PFM 3700 and PFM 4800 also offer an excellent solution for coastal construction and superyacht applications.
PFM 1200
The PFM 1200 achieves superior performance through its impressive load capacity at high outreach and its exceptional weight-to-performance ratio.
It delivers more than 2.4 tons at an outreach of over 26 meters, representing a substantial improvement over comparable solutions on the market. The stiff design of the patented P-profile extension boom system forms the foundation for this impressive performance while ensuring durability, reliability, and a positive impact on vessel weight and balance.
The PFM 1200 can be used as a direct retrofit solution for the PK 150002 M, and in addition to EN 12999, the PFM 1200 is also available as a top-performing class model according to DNV ST-0377.
PFM 3700 & PFM 4800
The PFM 3700 and PFM 4800 models were developed to succeed the previous PFM 3500 and PFM 4500 models while incorporating enhanced technology.
The development focused on significantly increasing performance while maintaining the proven reliability that the previous models have demonstrated over many years.
As a result, load capacity has been increased by up to 28%, while outreach has been extended by up to 5.2 meters. The significantly greater outreach and load capacity at a comparable dead weight further strengthen the cranes' competitiveness, delivering 8.9 tons at 23.4 meters for the PFM 3700 and 10.6 tons at 25.4 meters for the PFM 4800.
