The Senior Sales Manager oversees large-scale projects and manages global clients and segments, driving long-term client satisfaction through tailored strategic solutions. This role focuses on fostering strong relationships and ensuring business growth across various segments and regions. The Role is significant part of achieving Palfinger MARINE's strategic goals by supporting global clients and partners in the maritime industry.

You will be part of our Sales Organization handling customers globally where the focus for this position will be life-saving equipment (lifeboats & davits) and special boats (daughter crafts)The position reports to the Director Global Key Accounts & Segments

Your Tasks:

  • Global Account Management: Strengthen relationships with key global accounts and product segments, ensuring tailored solutions and long-term satisfaction.
  • Market Expansion & Sales Development: Identify and build new markets, develop sales leads from prospect to contract, and support regions with customized solutions.
  • Quotation & Bid Management: Handle technical and commercial quotations, manage the bid process, and ensure alignment with sales procedures.
  • Pipeline & Delivery Oversight: Monitor sales pipeline and order intake, ensuring delivery timelines, costs, and risks are effectively managed.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with regional sales teams and facilitate knowledge transfer from global accounts to local sales regions.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related technical field. Work experience can compensate for a formal degree.
  • Proven experience in managing global key accounts or large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and project management tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. Any additional language will be highly advantageous.
  • Previous sales experience within the maritime industry or lifesaving equipment would be advantageous
