Global Lean Management Expert / Engineer (f/m/d)

To strengthen our global Lean Management team, we are looking for an experienced Lean Management professional who drives continuous improvement through the PALFINGER Production System (PPS) and ensures measurable and sustainable impact across our global operations.

As a Global Lean Management Expert (f/m/d) (internally classified as Global PPS Engineer), based in Bergheim, you define, implement, and continuously evolve the global PPS framework, ensuring standardization across all locations and alignment with corporate objectives. In this role, you drive the development and governance of PPS and ensure cross-functional improvement initiatives deliver measurable impact on operational excellence and cost efficiency.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver structured Lean training and coaching to leaders and teams to ensure effective application of PPS principles, methods, and standards
• Facilitate structured improvement formats (e.g. workshops, kaizen events) to enable teams to deliver measurable results
• Embed Lean principles into daily management systems to ensure sustainable performance improvement
• Lead improvement projects globally and actively support local PPS experts in delivering measurable operational impact
• Develop and maintain global PPS standards and conduct maturity assessments to ensure consistent implementation and transparency across all sites

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in mechanical engineering, production management, or a comparable technical field
• Several years of experience in an industrial environment (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Production, Quality or Lean Management), ideally with experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and proven Lean Management expertise
• High level of ownership and self-motivation with the ability to independently identify and drive improvement opportunities
• Strong communication and change management capabilities with the ability to work effectively in international environments and across cultures
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced MS 365 skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI) and fluency in English and German

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
