This Z-type timber loader crane from our Epsolution range has a lifting capacity of 10 metric tons and comes in three arm lengths: 7.9 m, 8.2 m, and 9.6 m. The M100Z features EPSILON’s Epscope and Epslink systems and offers operators a choice of five different control methods.

Epslink is EPSILON’s patented link-rotator combination. It features an extraordinarily robust four-eye-cast link with internal hose routing – and combines with Epscope to provide a practical, professional solution.

Epscope is EPSILON’s patented extension boom system, available in both single and double telescope variants. The extension cylinder and hose equipment are mounted internally, which allows operators to work safely without the risk of mechanical damage to key components.

Cathodic dip coating (KTL)

This specialist surface treatment lays the foundations for long-lasting surface protection. PALFINGER’s Marburg and Lengau production facilities feature fully automated cathodic dip coating lines.

This treatment starts by degreasing and rinsing components before activating them, applying a zinc phosphate coating and then rinsing again. This is followed by passivation and a final rinsing step with ultra-pure water before the components undergo cathodic dip coating. Sophisticated robotic systems then finalize the process.

Top seat mounting and control options

Standard top seat

The classic top seat with manual controls. Available with joysticks (KH) or linear levers (LH).

Top seat mounting and control options

The Standard top seat can be mounted behind the crane column with dual-circuit hydraulics. In this version, the directly articulated controls comprise two joysticks and two pedals, while the adjustable seat features armrests and a seat contact switch.

The Manual version of the Epscab is built on solid foundations. Its Parker F130CF control valve in a double-circuit design with ball bearing-mounted levers that are free of play and require no maintenance. Proportional manual operation of the cabin lift ensures convenient control, while a contact switch in the seat protects against unintented operation.

 

The Epscab Manual delivers on comfort and protection in all weathers. It features front and side doors, with the front window made from 8 mm-thick Lexan safety glass for enhanced safety, while a windscreen washer/wiper helps to provide a clear view of the working area. A water-based heating system with a thermostat and three-speed fan combine with a heated seat to keep the operator comfortable, even in perishing conditions. The cabin also features an RDS radio with a CD player and a line in for an MP3 player to make the working day as pleasant as possible.

 

Finally, the cabin is finished with a powder-based primer and a final powder coating in RAL 9003 (Signal White).

The Electric version of the Epscab features electrohydraulic control based on high-quality Parker L90LS and IQAN valves in single-circuit design for variable displacement pump operation, mounted in seven sections on the crane column. A contact switch in the seat protects against unintented operation, while Hultdins vibration dampers support precise, confident operation. The MD3 display allows operators to configure individual settings with Soft Touch control and view past service inspections.

 

The Epscab Electric delivers on comfort and protection in all weathers. It features front and side doors, with the front window made from 8 mm-thick Lexan safety glass for enhanced safety, while a windscreen washer/wiper helps to provide a clear view of the working area. The XL Electric version of the Epscab features electrohydraulic control based on high-quality Parker L90LS and IQAN valves in single-circuit design for variable-displacement pump operation, mounted in seven sections on crane column. A contact switch in the seat protects against unintented operation, while Hultdins vibration dampers support precise, confident operation. The MD3 display allows operators to configure individual settings with Soft Touch control and view past service inspections.

 

The Epscab Electric delivers on comfort and protection in all weathers. The Epscab XL is 200 mm longer than the standard variant, and is also available with a panoramic door featuring an inclined front window, specifically designed for chipper applications. A water-based heating system with a thermostat and three-speed fan, a roof-mounted AC unit, a heated Grammer seat, and ergonomic, adjustable armrests combine to keep the operator comfortable in all conditions. The cabin also features an RDS radio with a CD player and a line in for an MP3 player to make the working day as pleasant as possible.

 

Finally, the cabin is finished with a powder-based primer and a final powder coating in RAL 9003 (Signal White).
