Product Data Management & Governance Specialist (f/m/d)

In this role, you will shape the standardized and future-ready management of product data throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will establish robust data governance, drive data quality, and support the integration of ERP, PLM, and related systems to enable efficient engineering and business processes. Working closely with Engineering, IT, and Operations, you will help create a scalable enterprise master data framework and promote the sustainable adoption of data standards across the organization.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define, document, and continuously improve engineering data structures, processes, and data models in systems such as Teamcenter and SAP S/4HANA• Establish and maintain data-governance standards for data creation, changes, phase-out, quality, and usage• Monitor engineering-data quality, lead enrichment and cleansing initiatives, and develop KPIs and reporting mechanisms.• Support data migration, conversion, and system implementations or upgrades while ensuring data consistency and integrity across platforms.• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, build a network of product-data experts, and provide training and coaching to promote best practices
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering field, with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in engineering and/or product data management• Strong understanding of product development processes, related data structures, and ERP/PLM systems or enterprise business platforms• Experience working within future-oriented workplace principles and complex enterprise business landscapes; basic knowledge of project management is an advantage• A self-driven, quality-focused team player with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, disciplines, and organizational levels• Open to innovation, transformation, and continuous learning, with excellent English and/or German language skills and willingness to travel up to 20%

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53 241,02 based on full-time employment.
