At PALFINGER MARINE, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, we are seeking a highly motivated Spares Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our regional operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. The position reports directly to the Regional Spares Manager.  

Your Responsibilities:

Support the sales team in understanding customer needs and requirements, providing technical expertise and solutions to enhance product sales and customer satisfaction.

Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives in collaboration with sales managers and engineers to promote products effectively and achieve sales targets.

Deliver technical presentations to clients to showcase product features, advantages, and benefits, assisting in the sales process and building strong customer relationships.

Maintain professional relationships with customers and partners, ensuring clear communication and efficient resolution of technical inquiries and issues.

Provide key technical information to relevant internal and external stakeholders, supporting sales activities and contributing to the achievement of sales objectives.

Collaborate with automotive suppliers and other technical resources to gather insights and stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements, incorporating relevant information into sales strategies.

Monitor processes and performance metrics related to sales activities, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the optimization of sales processes and outcomes.

Your Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

3-5 years of experience but may not be exclusively limited to this range.

Knowledge of Marine/Service industries. 

Strong customer relationship management skills.

Excellent communication and coordination capabilities.

Adaptability and ability to perform effectively in a dynamic working environment.

Strong commitment to teamwork, and overall team success.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction, understanding needs, and preparing accurate quotations accordingly
• Manage the full quotation and order process — from receiving requests to issuing final sales quotes and processing orders in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy in pricing, delivery, and terms
• Coordinate communication between customers, suppliers, warehouse, and internal teams to ensure timely order handling, shipping, and documentation
• Monitor orders and proactively resolve issues, including customer complaints, while maintaining compliance with Palfinger Marine’s policies and regulations
• Collaborate across departments (spares, logistics, purchasing, finance) to ensure accuracy in invoicing, updated supplier data, and overall efficiency in the sales and distribution process

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical knowledge and understanding is preferred
• Business administration experience is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Maritime / Off-shore spares industry
• Excellent customer service skills, good networker and self-motivated
• Good leadership, cooperation, communication, and organizational skills • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
