HSE Manager (m/f/d)

The overall purpose of this job is to ensure the proper maintenance and functioning of production equipment within PALFINGER AG. This includes scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, calibrations, and upgrades to support the smooth operation of production processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the company's operations.

Your Responsibilities

• The role will provide EHS support for plant legal and compliance matters and coordinate with MPCB, Factory Directorate and other government authorities for statutory requirements, including Consent to Establish, Consent to Operate and annual compliance submissions.
• The position will establish and maintain Health & Safety and Incident Management Systems and ensure compliance with applicable standards and legal requirements.
• The role will conduct workplace hazard, exposure, ergonomic and safety assessments, audits and inspections and ensure timely corrective actions.
• The HSE Manager will support environmental management programs, including environmental impact assessment, waste management and monitoring of environmental compliance.
• The role will also investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or a related field, with 8–12 years of relevant experience in HSE, preferably in manufacturing, heavy engineering or industrial operations.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, safety procedures, incident management, environmental compliance, hazard identification, risk assessment and Aspect & Impact Analysis.
• Experience in coordinating with MPCB, Factory Directorate and other statutory authorities will be preferred.
