KTL, finite element modeling and functional design

Innovative technology for long-lasting surface protection, durability testing and optimized functionality.

Cathodic dip coating (KTL)

This specialist surface treatment lays the foundations for long-lasting surface protection. PALFINGER’s Marburg and Lengau production facilities feature fully automated cathodic dip coating lines.

This treatment starts by degreasing and rinsing components before activating them, applying a zinc phosphate coating and then rinsing again. This is followed by passivation and a final rinsing step with ultra-pure water before the components undergo cathodic dip coating. Sophisticated robotic systems then finalize the process.

External Control

Operate your crane from the cabin of another vehicle with our convenient External Control solution. It features a Danfoss control valve mounted on a slewing cylinder, along with two Danfoss joysticks, and a 10 m cable – suitable for DM8H, DM9F, and DM10F configurations.
