As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at PALFINGER, you'll implement full life cycle recruiting strategies for our Production and Office Operations roles in the Council Bluffs, IA area and the Western zone. 


Reporting to the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, this remote position offers the flexibility to work from home, and as needed from the Council Bluffs, IA facility, with required occasional travel to various PALFINGER locations.   • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to develop and implement tailored recruiting strategies that meet specific hiring needs
  • Proactively engage with top talent through innovative sourcing techniques, including social media, networking events, and community partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations and external agencies to create a robust pipeline of future candidates, attending events both in-person and virtually.
  • Serve as a key liaison between HR Business Partners, the HR Center of Excellence, and various departments to provide strategic recommendations on integrated talent programs
  • Assist in facilitating new employee orientation to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires


  • Five years of recruiting experience, including at least three years in high-volume agency or HR solutions provider environment with full life cycle recruitment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications or Marketing
  • Three years of experience implementing creative sourcing strategies to identify candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, diversity sourcing sites, social media, and advanced sourcing techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to create job descriptions, communicate with all levels of employees and the community via phone, Microsoft Teams and in person
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, applicant tracking system (ATS), HRIS systems, experience in ADP; Experience with SAP Success Factors ATS highly preferred
  • Ability to support geographically distributed locations while consistently delivering professional customer service, working both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of employment law and experience using various interviewing methods and assessment tools with an understanding of the skills, knowledge, and abilities required for the positions across levels and to create job descriptions/job postings
  • Ability to travel to various PALFINGER office locations and attend community events outside of normal business hours
  • Prior sales and marketing experience, preferred
