Job Summary

The Assistant Controller will report to the Regional Finance Manger, and oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Responsibilities include ensuring both accuracy and integrity of account balances within the general ledger, reconciliations, month-end closing, provide analytics, streamline processes, and assist the Assistant Controller with reporting and other various duties.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day financial responsibilities related to financial ERP system transactions.
  • Manage and oversee local team accounting function responsibilities.
  • Perform forecasting & budgeting.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements.
  • Performing and reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and record monthly journal entries.
  • Prepare and maintain financial data in accordance with GAAP & company policies.
  • Record inter-company transactions & billing.
  • Create and oversee various reporting packages, including backlog reporting, sales reporting and budget to actual reports.
  • Perform variance analysis within department expenses.
  • Support quarterly & yearly audits.
  • Lead cross functional projects.
  • Analyze current processes and make recommendations for improvements.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience.
  • Team management experience a plus.
  • Strong ERP background – SAP experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong Excel skills.
