
Regional Senior Manager Customer Service

PALFINGER is searching for a Regional Senior Manager, Customer Service. This position is located in Schaumburg, IL. This position reports to the Regional Director of Service. The Regional Senior Manager, Customer Service is responsible for the North American Region's technical assistance and warranty handling for the PALFINGER product portfolio. The ideal candidate will create standards in the Region and develop strong communication with our Dealers and Service Partners. Ability and willingness to travel within North America and to PALFINGER headquarters in Europe.
Your Responsibilites
- Create and implement Customer Service and Warranty standards for the North American Region in alignment with PALFINGER global service.
- Transform PALFINGER Customer Service into a modern, state-of-the-art customer-oriented Service Organization.
- Manage and support all Service Departments of the North American PALFINGER Product lines supporting Dealers and Service partners in the region.
- Direct and manage the processes of Technical Assistance and Service Managers who support PALFINGER customers and products.
- Implement and rollout the globally defined PALFINGER software tools to handle the service processes in the region.
- 50% travel required throughout North America and to PALFINGER headquarters in Europe.
Your Qualifications
- Fundamental technical understanding of hydraulic machinery (e.g., construction machinery, lifting equipment, agricultural machinery).
- Strong knowledge of industrial product warranties and supporting processes.
- 5+ years of experience in after-sales, service, or technical support on construction machinery, lifting, agriculture or other industrial/heavy equipment; Associates degree preferred.
- Experience managing a customer service function in a leadership capacity that requires staff management and development.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing existing processes and developing new processes to create efficiencies.
