PALFINGER is searching for an Assembly Team Lead. This position is located in TRENTON, NJ. This position reports to the Parts Supervisor. The Assembly Team Leader coordinates day to day assembly support activities with a strong focus on kit packing, outbound kit accuracy, inventory integrity, safety, and 5S/continuous improvement. The role leads by example on the floor, ensures standard work is followed, trains new hires, and partners with the Supervisor on planning and KPI performance.

Your Responsibilities

Assist the Production/Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating workers’ daily activities and priorities.
Contributes to planning and definition of materials locations throughout the warehouse and outside yard for best flow and picking.
Provide clear instruction and guidance to employees regarding daily schedule, safety, and tasks; step in to assist operations as needed.
Train and onboard new assembly employees; maintain training matrices for kit packing roles.
Track department KPIs; review with Supervisor to drive performance and corrective actions.

Your Qualifications

2+ years of warehouse/assembly operations including powered industrial truck operation; valid certifications where required.
Proven experience in assembly/kitting operations with proficiency across multiple work areas and material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, overhead crane).
Demonstrated communication, leadership, time management, and problem solving skills.
ERP proficiency—SAGE100 or similar (material consumption).
