The Spares Manager leads the end-to-end spare parts business, driving revenue, margin, and operational efficiency while ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment. The role combines commercial ownership, team leadership, and technical expertise to support customers and service operations across the region.
Your Responsibilities
- Revenue & Margin Ownership – Drive spares revenue and profitability through effective pricing strategies and performance management
- Operational Performance Management – Define, track, and optimize KPIs across procurement, sales order processing, and spares operations
- Department & Team Leadership – Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Spares Department, ensuring efficient order execution and workflow discipline
- Technical & Product Expertise – Provide first-line technical support and maintain strong knowledge of products, industry standards, and best practices
- Stakeholder & Supplier Management – Build strong customer and vendor relationships, negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Supply-Chain or related discipline
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably within the marine and offshore industry
- Strong negotiation skills
- Practical experience using SAP (e.g. purchase order creation and processing)
