P-Profile

The drop shaped P-Profile is characteristic for all PALFINGER TEC cranes. Due to the unusual profile, the boom extension system is especially high in torsional strength and light weight.
In contrast to the conventional six edges of the hexagonal profile, the P-Profile is offering a large number of edges, allowing for a very efficient application of force. Due to self-lubricating materials, the extension boom systems of knuckle boom and fly jib are low-maintenance.
• The minimized deflection of the boom system enables precise and fast working.
• No need for greasing in between service appointments.
• Thanks to the low maintenance execution of the boom system, load, working space and crane stay clean. Moreover, the small amount of lubricants has positive effects on the environment.
