
Global Lean Manager (m/w/d)

To strengthen our team in Bergheim we are looking for a Global Lean Manager (f/m/d).
JOB SUMMARY In this role, you are reporting to the Head of Global LEAN Management and taking over responsibility for the standards we are developing and rolling out via our regional and local LEAN Managers. Beside this, you are continuously challenging our training landscape, containing major training programs like our internal LEAN management training, but you are also taking care of the systems we are applying. During the support you are providing in projects, initiatives, workshops and KAIZEN events to the organization, you are identifying opportunities which you put into consideration during the development of concepts. In this interdisciplinary teams, you will act as an expert for topics like intralogistics, warehousing, levelling, line balancing, etc. In the role of the expert, coach, trainer and sparring partner, you will drive the application of LEAN methodologies & principles in the organization and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role gives you the opportunity to grow within the world-wide operations organization and will be considered for future management roles. LET'S DO IT - THESE ARE YOUR TASKS:
- Identify improvement potential and convert into projects and initiatives
- Organize and further development of our internal LEAN Management training program
- Plan, conduct and follow up on improvement initiatives (e.g. KAIZEN Events, workshops, projects)
- Assure buy-in and ownership for improvement projects at all levels
- Provide leadership, mentoring and support to other managers within the organization
- Train and coach employees on all hierarchy levels on LEAN tools and principles
- Communicate the PPS strategy to local PPS managers, encourage best practice sharing
- Develop and maintain metrics and scorecards to assess the effectiveness of LEAN activities
THUMBS UP - THIS IS YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations management, business or equivalent experience in operations
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CI/LEAN Manager
- Proven record of CI/LEAN Management projects
- LEAN and/or LEAN Six Sigma education preferred
- Fluent English (C1), Fluent English, Knowledge of German is an advantage
- High level of commitment and proactiveness; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete on time
- Strong change management and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills (workshops, trainings, presentations etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio etc.)
- Knowledge of SAP / ERP System preferred

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.068,12 per year (full-time). We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
