To strengthen our international team in Maribor, PALFINGER is looking for a International Welding Engineer (IWE)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation, monitoring, and documentation of all welding-related requirements in accordance with EN ISO 3834‑2, including completion of production documentation and ensuring high quality standards in welding and manufacturing.
Preparation, maintenance, and application of welding procedures, as well as definition, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of welding tests, inspections, and controls, including the derivation of improvement measures.
Inspection and verification of raw materials, welding consumables, and gases, ensuring compliance with defined quality and safety standards.
Welding engineering support for design departments, suppliers, and cooperation partners, including technical consultation and coordination.
Participation in the preparation, execution, and implementation of internal projects, as well as close collaboration with other departments in an international corporate environment.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, along with welding qualifications at least at IWS or IWT level (IWE is an advantage).
Sound knowledge of non‑destructive weld testing methods and experience in operating welding power sources from Fronius and EWM.
Very good IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge is an advantage.
Strong intercultural leadership and communication skills, combined with high team orientation and excellent self‑organization abilities.
Fluent German and English skills for effective collaboration in an international environment.
