The corporate Vision & Strategy 2030 enables PALFINGER to focus on fully integrated lifting solutions enabled by digitalization with hard- and software from one single source. The Global PALFINGER Organization (GPO) is complemented with a new dedicated Digital Product Line (DPL): close cooperation with product line management & engineering (PLM&E), sales & service, process & quality management (PQM), corporate ICT and the Incubator P21st is anticipated.
The DPL’s mission is to offer digital products & services that complement PALFINGER's existing world-class lifting solutions. Therefore, the DPL is accountable for the entire digital product life cycle which includes in-depth understanding of customer needs derived from jobs-to-be-done. New revenue streams via data-driven business models are pursued.
As an integral part of the DPL, the IoT & Data Science Competence Team applies state-of-the-art methods and implements suitable technologies on machine & process data. Valuable data-driven insights are used for product engineering, process improvements, customer insights and business model generation. In this vein, a cloud-based IoT data architecture is dynamically designed, implemented and maintained in order to fulfill growing & changing requirements.
We are searching for a Technical Project Manager that complements our expert team of data / cloud / AI/ML engineers & data scientists. The role’s focus is the structured execution of projects; i.e., generation of project charters, managing project teams, internal & external partner collaboration and transparent reporting. We’re looking for a dynamic & self-reliant person whose expertise lies within project & process management in a technical field such as industrial or mechanical engineering with a good understanding of computer science / software engineering / data science.
