Join PALFINGER Marine – a global leader in innovative lifting solutions for the maritime industry. We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of purchased products and services, driving continuous improvement and maintaining a stable supply chain.

Your Tasks

Lead supplier qualification, monitoring, and development in cooperation with Strategic Procurement, including audits, evaluations, and quality meetings.
Perform quality control and certification of supplier products, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, marine standards (MED, DNV, ABS, IEC, API), and support third-party audits.
Define, monitor, and report KPIs on supplier quality performance, driving corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.
Foster strong supplier relationships and support quality improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and problem resolution.
Ensure adherence to company QHSE policies and contribute to continuous improvement aligned with strategic objectives.

Your Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field.
1–3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, preferably in marine, offshore, or heavy machinery industries.
Knowledge of quality systems and certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), fabrication, welding, machining, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Hands-on experience with quality tools (8D, PPAP, root cause analysis); ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.
Fluent in English; German is a plus. Willingness to travel (30–40%) and valid B category driving license.
