The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing operations to ensure on-time delivery, high product quality, and cost-effective production. This role leads production teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates across departments to support operational efficiency and supports business growth.
Your Responsibiliies:
- Lead and oversee end-to-end production operations, ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, cost control, and alignment with customer and business objectives.
- Manage production planning, scheduling, KPI tracking, and reporting, including daily/weekly output, monthly performance metrics, and corrective action follow-up.
- Directly manage Production Supervisors and Team Leads, driving workforce planning, performance management, coaching, and development to meet operational targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Enterprise and PALFINGER PPS methodologies to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while collaborating cross-functionally (Quality, PPS, IE, Purchasing, Sales) to optimize processes and support long-term operational growth.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
- 7–10 years of progressive production or operations management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated hands-on experience in Lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, with experience in production reporting, KPI tracking, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, support cross-functional teams, and travel internationally as required.
