Physical security is well known as one of the fundamental pillars to implement a holistic security management system. With a global production, development and sales and service network Palfinger has sites on almost each continent.
Within the last five years, the threat landscape has changed drastically in multiple areas. To set the right countermeasures we in Palfinger want to bring security management to the next level.

About the role:

As the central expert for physical security you’ll develop, train, and establish security management standards for our locations. Within the role, you’ll be the central point of contact for physical security topics in regards of site hardening but as well in sufficient protection of information and other assets. You’ll work closely together with the experts on site to ensure best practice exchange and lessons learned.

Your Tasks

  • You will define and drive the implementation of a comprehensive and integrated physical security standard aligned with business needs, security risks and threats as well as regulatory requirements.
  • You’ll guide and collaborate with the organization through a security management program to set a new standard for our asset protection.
  • The physical security expert will be responsible for ensuring the conformity of company sites with our Global Security standards through regular security assessments and the support of audits.

Your Qualification

  • You’ve already gained first insights into security management either on projects or at university.
  • You’re interested in security technology like closed circuit TV, access control systems and others evaluating to fit to our organizations need and fit. 
  • You appreciate a collaborative role, being a born networker and you know how to work within a hybrid working environment. Your focus is on to build high quality, sustainable relationships across many functions within the organization.

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 46.346,72. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
