The Service Sales Manager drives profitable growth of PALFINGER Marine’s Service and Spares business by developing and managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring effective coordination across teams. The role integrates strategic sales expansion with operational excellence to strengthen PALFINGER’s service performance and market position.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable sales growth across existing and new customers within the portfolio, achieving set budgets and KPI
  • Ensure regular customer and prospect visits in alignment with KPIs, maintaining close engagement and understanding of market needs
  • Develop and implement annual customer development plans for selected key accounts, ensuring sustainable business growth
  • Report and analyze customer performance, ensuring CRM systems are updated, and take corrective actions while coordinating effectively with service coordinators and management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage service delivery, follow up on complaints and non‑conformities, and prepare annual budgets to support business objectives

Your qualifications

  • Technical background, preferably within marine or offshore engineering environments
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the marine or offshore industry, with proven success in service or sales functions
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong, long-term professional relationships
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
