What excites you about the Red Bull Flugtag?
This unique event gives you the chance to let your creativity run wild.
I am the right person for the team because ...
... I'm a lightweight and, as the pilot, this certainly gives me an edge on the competition. 😊
What is your role in the team?
On the day of the Red Bull Flugtag, I'm the pilot. During the construction phase, I’m responsible for the development and design of the landing gear. Of course, the flying machine then gets assembled by all of us together …
Why are you best suited for the role of pilot?
Quite obviously because I'm the lightest one on the team. 😊
What does innovation mean to you?
When new or previously unusual materials or shapes are used for the first time in the manufacture of a product, then that’s innovative to me.
If you could sit next to a famous person on a plane, who would you like to sit next to?
Niki Lauda has fascinated me since I was a child, and I would have loved to meet him in person. Because of his achievements as a racing driver and as a pilot, he is definitely a role model for me.
If you could meet one famous person at the Red Bull Flugtag, who would it be?
It would definitely be Dietrich Mateschitz. I find it incredibly impressive what a successful empire he has built.
Your motto for the Red Bull Flugtag:
Sharp as a shark and flying high! With our flying machine, we want to impress the jury and the audience – not just in the air but also in the water.
