PALFINGER: Reliable in Ghana with Scania

21.10.2021

Conditions may be harsh and challenging in the West African country of Ghana with soaring temperatures and rough roads. Yet Ghana is one of Africa´s many promising emerging markets with an great potential of annual growth. To foster this development Ghana has invested in new infrastructure such as roads and housing. These tasks demand the most reliable working tools available. Such as PALFINGER lifting solutions.

Incredibly well-built

To meet customer needs in Ghana the best way possible, Scania West Africa turned to PALFINGER for a cooperation focusing on the PALFINGER PERFORMANCE models PK 23500 and PK 32080. The availability of a truck as the Scania P410 cab chassis in combination with a reliable loader crane such as the PK 23500 from PALFINGER, with its high lifting capacity, is essential to fulfill the customer´s expectations. In addition, the truck is used to transport construction equipment such as compactors, bricks, cement, and steel. The sites are often extremely isolated and difficult to reach over stony and especially sandy tracks. But thanks to the incredibly well-built overall truck concept from the PALFINGER Mounting Competence Center (MCC), these PALFINGER ready to operate trucks in combination with a Scania P410 cab chassis are able to cope with these particularly rough conditions.

First Order

In July, Scania West Africa placed an order of nine PALFINGER cranes with mounting and body installation onto the Scania P410 cab chassis. Scania will supply these ready built solutions to a major player in the Ghanaian construction business. This is the first delivery. More are expected to follow and are available via the online sales platform PALDRIVE Africa for customers and PALFINGER partners as well as via Scania West Africa.
