In your role as Specialist Systems Engineering, you will develop, evaluate and implement new methods and tools for systematic and agile product development in close cooperation with the engineering teams of the product lines, thus actively contributing to leading the company and its employees into a successful digital future.

To strengthen our future strategic solution architectures and Systems Engineering Expertise we are looking for a Specialist Systems Engineering (f/m/d) in Köstendorf.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analysis of stakeholder needs across the Palfinger organization in the range of Systems Engineering (SE)
Continuous research and evaluation of SE methods and IT-tool candidates
Tailoring of SE methods according to our stakeholder’s needs
Customization and integration of SE tools into Palfinger IT environment in close collaboration with Palfinger ICT and process quality organization
Training and coaching of SE in product engineering teams
Support and consultancy of product development project teams towards the application of SE (system context analysis, Use-Case analysis, Functional-Breakdown Structure development, Risk Analyses, Functional-, Behavioral-, Logical- & Technical System Architecting, Interface Specification, “RQ to Test” traceability modelling, and many more)
Initiation & coordination of SE-related pilot initiatives with product development
Active stakeholder management and communication

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Enjoy and have fun in creating progress as part of a creative and engaged global team
University degree in a technical profession
Knowledge of systems engineering or product development methodology
Preferably practical product development or product architecting experience
High level of comprehension for technically demanding challenges
Highly motivated and proactive way of working
Well organized and structured person with hands on implementation skills
Strong communicator, facilitator and moderator
Flexible and empathic personality with high ability to build bridges
Proficient business English, fluent German is an advantage
Willingness to travel (<25%)

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 46.346,72. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
