THE "ALL-IN-ONE" FOR LANDSCAPING!
Curd Janssen now runs the family business "Garten Janssen", which was founded by his grandfather over 110 years ago. When investing in a new lifting arm, Janssen opted for the PALFINGER "Power A" with a lifting capacity of 10 tons, mounted on a 15-ton chassis from MAN.
"We consulted all possible suppliers in our workshops. The Palfinger hookloader offers the flattest loading angle for our tippers", explains Curd Janssen, who adds: "This is very important to us, because we always rely on our own logistics and a short chassis, so that we can be particularly well handled on the last few meters of access to our construction sites".
The Saterland-based company specializes entirely in private customers with their individual garden design requirements. A CAD system supports and visualizes the garden design of customers living in the area between Leer, Oldenburg and Cloppenburg. The complete design also includes the creation of terraces, swimming pools or garden ponds.
"With a small team, we do almost everything ourselves and often use building materials and furnishing elements from our own store in order to be able to realize the required customization. Most of these cannot be found or bought in DIY stores," explains Curd Janssen. The new vehicle is used for the logistics of delivery and removal from construction sites. Work equipment, building materials and plants are transported to the work site in flatbed trailers or in bulk, and excavated material is removed in removable containers.
Thanks to its sophisticated arm kinematics, the "Power A" offers an extremely flat loading angle and enormous hook force. This results in a wide range of possible applications, making the "Power" lifting arm a perfect working tool for horticulture and landscaping. A real "all-in-one"!
Site manager and son-in-law Henrick Reens is very enthusiastic about his vehicle and appreciates the internal wired control in the driver's cabin. "This is exactly what we need! The same goes for the possibility of picking up skips below ground level", says Reens.
In addition to open DIN boxes of various capacities, all of which have a hatch in the back, we had a sliding tarpaulin tray made especially for our business. The vehicle is thus suitable for the side loading and unloading of palletized goods and retail goods. In the future, this will enable us to better transport sensitive plants by protecting them from the weather. Because the activities continue practically all year round: There is no longer a winter break. Only between Christmas and New Year's Eve are activities suspended.
"The garden is a part of the man and not of the house. That's why we develop and realize custom-made gardens, adapted to the personal needs of each client. For some, it is an incomparable place to relax, for others it is a privileged place where long-term memories are created. Every garden tells its own story", says Curd Janssen, Managing Director of Garten Janssen.
With the new hookloader vehicle as its "flagship", Garten Janssen is perfectly equipped to be even more efficient in the future. The wide range of tippers available guarantees maximum flexibility and efficiency.
