PALFINGER is searching for a strong Regional Finance Project Manager where they will spearhead key initiatives driving North American growth within a global industry leader. This position will be located in Schaumburg, IL., and report to the Vice President of Finance for North and South America.  

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Drive the formulation and execution of strategic plans to maximize profitability across the North American region within PALFINGER's global operations that will shape our long-term growth trajectory and strengthen our competitive position in the market
  • Financial Modeling Mastery: Utilize expertise in financial modeling to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and forecast financial performance accurately that will guide strategic decision-making, ensuring the sustainability of PALFINGER's initiatives
  • Business Case Development: Lead the development of comprehensive business cases for new projects and initiatives, including different scenarios and sensitives, from concept to execution, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to assess feasibility, ROI, and risk factors, aligning with PALFINGER's strategic objectives
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and project team members, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making and foster collaboration, along with preparation and execution of meetings 
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of innovation, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and mitigate financial risks with a proactive approach; provide input for status reporting, milestone tracking, and resource plans
     

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Project Management or related field; PMP or relevant project management certification, is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of success in project management, financial modeling, and business case development (at least 5 years of experience)
  • Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, leveraging your knowledge in business strategy and transformation to contribute to organizational growth and success
  • Effective Planning and Coordination for both long and short-term plans with clear milestones and deadlines, ensuring alignment across teams and effective communication across all levels of the organization to drive project success
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving, serving as a central point of contact for teams, facilitating discussions and arriving at actionable conclusions to overcome challenges and achieve project objectives
