As part of an internal succession process, we are looking for a PMO Manager for our established ICT PMO. The role is responsible for overseeing project and portfolio management processes within the ICT organization, both operationally and strategically. The objective is to ensure transparency, governance, and quality across transformation, IT, and business projects, as well as to support the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
Your responsibilities
Your responsibilities-
: Build and manage the ICT PMO, define project management standards, and ensure governance, compliance, and reporting.
- Reporting & Transparency: Prepare management reports, dashboards, and decision materials; organize ICT portfolio meetings.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the central interface between Business, IT, Management, and partners; collaborate with project managers and functional leads.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop best practices, enhance PM tools and methodologies, and support transformation and change initiatives.
- Portfolio Oversight: Drive transparency and alignment across projects, ensuring consistent standards and effective decision-making.
Your Qualification
- Project Management Expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience managing IT and/or SAP projects in corporate or similar environments, with proven PMO, portfolio, or program management background.
- Methodologies & Tools: Strong knowledge of traditional and agile project management methods and tools (e.g., PPM, Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira); SAP Activate methodology is a plus.
- Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Infor LN, or similar.
- Leadership & Communication: Experience leading international teams and managing external partners; structured, solution-oriented approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English.

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is 52.197,04 € based on full-time employment.
