PALFINGER is searching for a Design Engineer.This position is located in Council Bluffs, IA. This position reports to the Product Line R&D Manager.

Your Responsibilities

Design and develop cable hoist mechanical components and assemblies.
Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using Creo/Autocad.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and basic technical documentation.
Perform basic engineering calculations and support analysis (stress, tolerance).
Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
0-5 years industry experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
Strong fundamentals in mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Working knowledge of CAD software (Creo Parametric is preferred).
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Salary Range $65,000 - $80,000
401(k) with Company match.
