Job Summary

In this role, you report to the plant manager and take over responsibility for the onsite LEAN Management activities. Applying these principles and methodologies during workshops, projects, initiatives, and KAIZEN events will foster a culture of continuous improvement. Embedded in a global network of LEAN experts, you have the chance to bring in your experience and share good & best practices to develop future standards. Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify improvement potential by running various analyses
  • Define, plan and conduct improvement initiatives via (VSM/VSD, KAIZEN Events, workshops, projects, etc.)
  • Apply LEAN fundamentals like 5S, SFM, TPM, SMED, GEMBA, PDCA, A3 Problem Solving, etc.
  • Create good & best practices during different improvement activities and share them during best practice events within our network
  • Training, coaching and mentoring of employees of all hierarchy levels on LEAN tools and principles
  • Sparring partner for the plant manager and his site leadership team.
  • Facilitate Hoshin Kanri events, problem-solving events and additional workshops along the continuous improvement journey
  • Support the rollout of global and regional standards
  • Create and facilitate the improvement roadmap for the site
  • Develop a collaborative partnership with the whole organization
  • Develop and maintain metrics and scorecards to assess the effectiveness of LEAN activities


  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations management, business or equivalent experience in operations
  • Proven record of CI / LEAN Management projects
  • LEAN and/or LEAN Six Sigma education preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations and/or continuous improvement role
  • Fluent English



  • High level of commitment and proactiveness; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete them on time
  • Strong change management and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization
  • Solid presentation and facilitation skills (workshops, trainings, project presentations etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
  • Knowledge of SAP/ERP System preferred
