HR Business Partner (f/m/d)

As a HR Business Partner – LAND Division for Singapore, Japan, South Korea, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support and guidance to the Land business units within countries mentioned. You will serve as a key liaison between the Land business segment and the HR function, ensuring alignment of HR initiatives with the overall business objectives. Your primary focus will be on driving organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee engagement, and HR process improvement specifically for the Land entities in Singapore, Japan and South Korea.

YOUR TASKS&RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with Land business leaders in Singapore\Japan\South Korea to develop and implement HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that support business objectives and drive organizational growth.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to stakeholders on a range of HR matters including performance management, employee relations, talent development, performance management and succession planning, and facilitate conflict resolution, fostering a positive employee experience and productive work environment.
  • Drive the talent acquisition process for Land positions, partnering with recruitment teams to attract, assess and select top talent expertise in the Land industry.
  • Collaborate with HR Global CoEs & regional Experts to ensure effective delivery of HR services specifically tailored for the land industry, including compensation and benefits, learning and development, and employee engagement, and related global & regional projects & initiatives
  • Lead change management initiatives within the land business segment to support organizational transformation and ensure smooth implementation of HR programs
  • Stay updated on HR best practices, legal requirements, and industry trends to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends, utilizing data-driven insights and support business decision-making.

HR operations

  • Position is expected to boost onboarding employee experience and maintain high level of motivation of a new joiner. He/she will be accountable for onboarding process, as well as coordination of orientation/new joiner’s training plan. This includes liaising with internal stakeholders to refresh information on orientation slides.
  • Other HR operations related topics, etc.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

•    Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. 
•    Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in the Marine industry or related sectors within Southeast Asia. 
•    In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws in Southeast Asia. 
•    Strong business acumen and ability to understand and align HR strategies with business objectives. 
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization. 
•    Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders to drive change and achieve results. 
•    Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics specific to drive decision-making and measure the impact of HR initiatives. 
•    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and propose creative solutions. 
•    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. 
•    Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia as required to support the Land business.
