WHICH EXPENSES ARE COVERED BY PALFINGER, AND WHICH EXPENSES SHOULD I EXPECT TO PAY OUT OF POCKET?

Here’s an outline detailing the conference expenses that are covered by PALFINGER:

Hotel:  PALFINGER will pay for your hotel reservation (single occupancy) during the nights of Sept. 15th and 16th. Any additional nights outside of these dates, should you choose to extend your stay in Schaumburg / Chicago, will be your responsibility.

Meals:  Meals are provided during the conference dates for the conference attendees. Breakfast is included as part of your hotel stay, and lunches and dinners during the event are also included as part of your conference registration.

Transportation: Upon arrival in Chicago, please arrange for a taxi or rideshare (Uber/Lyft) to your designated hotel. Daily shuttles will be provided from the hotel to the event venues and back. If you prefer to rent a car, please note that this will be an out-of-pocket expense.

What is the closest airport to the hotel and venue?

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is the closest airport to the hotel and venue. It is conveniently located and offers a variety of transportation options to the Renaissance Hotel.

Is there a preferred hotel I can book?

Accommodation details, including the hotel information, will be provided along with the formal invitation in July.

I have special accessibility needs / dietary requirements; can you accommodate me?

Absolutely! The formal invitation, which will be sent in July, will include additional information regarding accessibility and dietary accommodations.

What parking arrangements are available at the venue?

Due to space constraints, we have organized transportation to and from the different event venues at the Renaissance Hotel for your convenience. There is no onsite parking available. Details regarding the transportation schedule and pick-up locations will be provided when you check into the hotel.

Is attendance required for all scheduled activities?

This is an in-person event, and full attendance is expected to ensure all participants benefit from the complete experience and don’t miss any key moments across both days. The event begins at 6 PM on Sept. 15 and concludes mid-afternoon on the 16th.

MAY I REQUEST TO BRING EXTRA MEMBERS OF MY SALES TEAM TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT?

Due to event size constraints, participation is limited. If you would like to request that additional participants from your company attend, please contact your Sales Manager to have those individuals placed on the waiting list.

CAN I BRING MY SPOUSE/PARTNER AND/OR FAMILY TO CHICAGO? ARE THEY ALLOWED TO ATTEND?

While you are more than welcome to bring your spouse, partner, or family to Chicago, please note that due to the large number of participants, they will not be able to participate in any of the event activities.

Any expenses incurred for your spouse, partner or family, including flights, meals, hotel costs for double, triple or quadruple occupancy, will be your responsibility.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE EVENT?

The dress code for the event is business casual. 

DO I NEED ANY PASSPORTS, TRAVEL VISAS OR PERMITS TO TRAVEL TO THE USA?

Canadian and Latin American travelers require a valid passport to travel to the United States. Ensure that your passport is up to date. It's essential to avoid any issues at the airport due to an expired passport. Also be sure to check that your passport is valid for at least 6 months past the intended departure date from the USA.
