
Service Workshop Supervisor (f/m/d)

Workshop supervisor is responsible for supporting service manager to plan, execute, monitoring and hand over all in-house repairing and refurbishment jobs and related activities, he/she is also responsible to implement Palfinger HSEQ standards, keep all workers and activities compliant under local safety and regulations.
Your Tasks
Workshop Management
- Support service manager to plan, execute, monitoring and hand over all in house repairing and refurbishment jobs (Crane, LSA, MHS etc)
- Attend in-house project in daily bases and offer technical support and trouble shooting
- Utilization of workshop and team resources
- Work in accordance with the company’s latest Strategy, Quality Manual, HSE policy and applicable laws and regulations
Regional Project and Technical Support
- Lead, attend or support complex project of region/global.
- Support globally with his/her special expertise such as Engine, crane, MHS, special solution etc.
Training
- Attend training and ensure that the technical skills and product knowledge are kept up to date
- Ensure the validity of relevant certifications to carry our Service jobs, and renew accordingly for expiring certificates
- Support corporate training function or regional team to develop training courses and program
Your Qualification
- NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in engineering-related field
- Relevant experiences will be considered for candidates who do not have the relevant academic qualifications
- Exposure to marine industry and equipment such as marine/offshore cranes and/or life-saving equipments
- Ability to lead a small team or project
- Manpower and resources planning skills
- Compliance to HSEQ or/and safety requirements
- Provide guidance and act as mentor to other technicians/engineers on jobs carried out in the workshop.
