Head of Global Training and Knowledge Transfer (f/m/d)

As “Head of Global Training and Knowledge Transfer” you are responsible for ensuring the required knowledge in the global sales and service network within the PALFINGER Group. This includes the definition of the training systems and methods as well as the selection of the necessary tools.

Your Tasks

  • Head of Training for the PALFINGER’s multi-stage sales and service network worldwide
  • Leadership of the internal sales and service trainer teams of all product areas
  • Management of support areas in the training environment (e-learning, training center, training documentation)
  • Development and definition of training methods to ensure product and market knowledge in a global sales and service network
  • Planning and implementation of training concepts for the roll-out of new product developments in consultation with product management, development and sales
  • Further development of the necessary systems and tools such as PALFINGER’s internal training platform “Palfinger University” as the associated skills management tools
  • Ensuring the quality of training by developing appropriate measures in cooperation with the dealer development department
  • Support and close cooperation with various sales and customer service departments of all product areas in the PALFINGER organization

Your Qualification

  • Technical Education (HTL Electronic, Machine Engineering, University-degree or adequate)
  • Additional educational training beneficial
  • Several years of experience in this field
  • Knowledge of modern training and education systems as well as knowledge and skills management methods (learning platforms etc.)
  • Leadership eyperience in a similar position
  • High communication skills as well as skills for organizational tasks, ability to work in a team
  • Technical understanding, especially in the field of hydraulics and electronics
  • Fluent English (C1 Level), preferably also other languages
  • Good IT knowledge, Knowledge of internal processes and systems in the field of training (Pal-University, Network Development System)
  • Willingness to travel worldwide

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 54.542,46. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
