Design Engineer KBC (w/m/d)

PALFINGER stands for most innovative, reliable and economic hoist-equipment on utility vehicles and in the maritime sector. To strengthen our Köstendorf team we are looking for a  Design Engineer KBC (w/m/d).

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Structural calculations and fatigue analysis of crane components for knuckle boom crane (KBC)
  • Supporting the test department by verification of calculation results
  • Concept creation & development based on specifications from product management
  • Project management and concept adaption for serial production
  • Creation of drawings and parts lists

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed technical education (HTL, FH, Uni) in the fields of mechanical engineering
  • Profound Knowledge of Creo, FEM (Creo Simulate, Ansys), Windchill and SAP
  • Several years of professional experience in development and design of steel components
  • Structured, independent and cost-conscious way of working
  • Good knowledge in German and English as well as willingness to travel occasionally

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 43.314,74 pa. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
