HR Manager EMEA (f/m/d)

Region Europe, Middle-East & Asia (EMEA) is one of PALFINGER’s main regions with 16 production sites including Austria, € 953.8 mio in revenue and more than 6.000 employees within and outside Europe. We are currently looking for an experienced HR Manager with strong communication and intrapersonal skills who is passionate and convinced about HR’s role as a strong Business Partner to drive our business strategy within EMEA: Together, we are shaping the Future of our Costumers’ Lifting Solutions.

Your Tasks

  • Accountable for the overall performance of the HR organization in region EMEA including consistent and accurate HR Reporting
  • Implement PALFINGER’s global HR Group Strategy in EMEA: sustainably establish our HR standard processes and policies from Hire to Retire (H2R) in region EMEA
  • Manage the Job Architecture and Compensation Management initiatives within EMEA with our international HR Team, also including communication and training of the HR team
  • Manage and execute the Talent & Performance Management as well as the Learning & Development Strategy within EMEA
  • Respond to specific regional requirements and define/implement/monitor regional solutions within the global framework
  • HR Business Partner of the Region Management Team EMEA and the legal entity Palfinger EMEA GmbH with approx. 60 employees from Hire 2 Retire, including hiring, contracting succession planning etc
  • Co-Lead for country-specific topics in Austria, together with the Head of HR Global Headquarters
  • Lead EMEA’s HR Management Team
  • Shape and set up HR resources and further develop EMEA’s HR organization by consolidating, specializing and sharing resources where appropriate (CoEs, SSCs etc.)
  • Represent HR EMEA as part of the Global HR Management Team and actively contribute to the strategic development of HR at PALFINGER, reporting to the SVP Global Human Resources at PALFINGER

Your Qualification

  • Diploma in Business Administration, HR Management or related disciplines, Coaching Diploma or similar is a plus
  • 10 years of related work and leadership experience in HR, favorably in an international role and/or multinational company
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Project and change management experience
  • Strong communication and intrapersonal skills

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 50.720,74 gross per year. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
