Regional Sales Manager - Minnesota | Iowa

The Group has manufacturing and assembly facilities in Europe, CIS, North and South America, as well as Asia. Equipment Technology, LLC, a Palfinger Company, manufactures aerial lift trucks for telecommunications, electrical utility, energy and industrial markets.

We are looking for experienced, self-motivated sales professionals to grow our existing direct sales business while expanding our present customer base. The individual will work with fleet managers and decision makers for Co-ops, Municipalities, Investor Owned Utilities, Cable and Communication Providers.

Your Tasks

As a regional account manager, this position is responsible for managing accounts in the assigned multi-state region and maximizing all direct sales opportunities.

  • Travel throughout the territory to meet with existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customer base
  • Develop quote/bid packages, negotiate customer contracts
  • Develop and deliver customer sales presentations to explain the company’ products and services
  • Forecast and achieve sales revenue and proper profit margins for the set region
  • Grow customer base through targeted prospecting
  • Prepare sales, service and support reports
  • Evaluate products, services and technical support to improve sales opportunities
  • Recommend products by identifying new product opportunities and service changes
  • Evaluate customer needs for new opportunities
  • Drive customer satisfaction by representing the company in a positive manner as the prime customer contact
  • Provide support for technical product application; assist customers with technical questions and special requests
  • Keep current on competitive products, pricing and industry business market trends
  • Utilize CRM software for capturing key account and contact information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualification

Bachelor’ Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.

  • Proven track record of sales experience; 5+ years with technical, customizable product sales required.
  • Utility or construction industry experience preferred.
  • Commercial Driver’ License preferred.
  • Computer proficiency; MS Office, CRM software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Business acumen
