PALFINGER is currently seeking an experienced Manager, Materials Management supporting our Trenton, NJ manufacturing facility. This is an opportunity to build a team and provide direction in helping the plant reach the next level of operational excellence!
Manager, Materials Management:
The Manager, Materials Management will be responsible for directing and overseeing all Materials operations involving Planning, Receiving, Inspections, Inventory Control, Warehousing, Shipping, Returns, Audit, Analysis and Customer Service for all materials and merchandise in the Trenton Plant. By working closely with Quality and Plant Leadership, the Manager will play an integral role in facilitating and supporting the Plant and Company goals of quality, growth and operational excellence.
Specifically, the Manager will be managing the auditing of bills of lading for actual merchandise received, and inspections of materials for good condition, in cooperation with the Quality Manager and Quality Inspectors. Additionally, they will be responsible for shipping finished goods, returns and other materials to customers and suppliers, working with internal and external shipping and distribution resources to achieve quality goals.
As a leader, the Manager will direct, train, evaluate and manage a team of material inspectors in order for the organization to have access to the materials and inputs it needs to operate efficiently, and so all materials and merchandise are received, stored and distributed safely, cost-effectively, accurately, and on-time.
