Graphic Designer (f/m)

Palfinger is a global leading manufacturer of truck and service equipment.  We offer a complete range of products manufactured at 5 locations throughout Canada and the USA.  To strengthen our team in North America, we are looking for a Graphic Designer to work out of our Niagara Falls location.

Working as part of the Marketing Team, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for building creative concepts and designing marketing collateral for the North American region.  He / She will be responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact and ensuring branding and visual identity standards are reflected in the design.

Your Tasks

  • Work closely with internal business units to assess creative needs.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to complete them all on schedule
  • Manage end-to-end creative delivery of materials - from conception to execution.  Materials to include:
    • Print brochures and Interactive PDF’s
    • Advertisements and Direct Mail Pieces
    • Branded visuals for online media (Social Media, Website)
    • Trade Show and Event Collateral
    • Icons and Vector Art elements
  • Retouching, manipulation and preparation of imagery.
  • Organize photo and video shoots.
  • Maintain company’s photo and video libraries
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Qualification

  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design
  • Excellent understanding of Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud with proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Understanding of print production
  • General knowledge of video editing (not required but nice to have)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of Spanish or French an asset
  • Willingness to travel
