Global Finance Business Partner - Digital Transformation Office (f/m/d)

PALFINGER stands for most innovative, reliable and economic hoist-equipment on utility vehicles and in the maritime sector. To strengthen our team in Bergheim we are looking for a Global Finance Business Partner – Digital Transformation Office (f/m/d).

You already have several years of experience in the area of controlling, have already worked as a senior controller in an international group and enjoy preparing figures in an understandable way. Strategic work is a must for your daily work and is one of your absolute strengths. During this, as a Global Finance Business Partner, you work closely with various departments in the PALFINGER Global Organization and do not necessarily take information for granted.

Your Tasks

  • Strategy Controlling
    • Strategic orientation and financial evaluation of major investments
    • Preparation of business plans as well as critical questioning of plans
    • Further development of internal and external controlling options
    • Strategic global planning including the derivation and monitoring of measures
  • Sparring Partner for Senior Management and Corporate Functions
  • Independent planning and implementation of controlling projects
  • Group reporting in accordance with IFRS and ad-hoc analyses for the Management Board
  • Global development of the controlling principles and system landscape

Your Qualification

  • Completed business management studies
  • Several years of controlling experience in an international environment (ideally with a focus on procurement and/or R&D)
  • Relevant experience in an industrial environment
  • Experience with due diligence audits, business valuations and restructuring
  • Analytical, value-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking as well as independent and structured working methods
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; additional foreign language skills are an advantage
  • Readiness to travel
  • Excellent communication skills across departmental boundaries
  • Team player with assertiveness and courage for change
  • Own ideas, open mind set and holistic way of thinking

We offer an attractive and performance-related salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience and can be significantly higher than the collective agreement for this position (KV minimum on the basis of full-time employment is EUR 44.506,00 gross per year).
