Junior Internal Audit (f/m/d)

The tasks are various: We manage projects, carry out analytical and consulting tasks and get to know operative and strategic objectives of the group.


  • As part of a hands-on team you support audits at PALFINGER production / sales plants onsite:
    • Evaluate processes and analyze adherence to group policies
    • Identify risks and improvement potentials
    • Document audit issues and prepare audit reports
    • Monitor implementation of corresponding audit measures
  • Work in challenging ad-hoc projects
  • Act as business partner and support governance processes e.g. development, administration and communication of group policies
  • Monitor and develop group wide internal control system incl. reporting requirements


  • Completed university degree in business administration, economics or equivalent
  • Fluent in English and German; further language is a plus
  • Willingness to travel (project related; <50%)
  • High IT affinity (MS Office)
  • First working experience in Audit (e.g. Big4) or as Internal Auditor / Controller in the manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and result-oriented way of working
  • Good communication skills, ability to deal with conflicts and confident appearance
  • High degree of personal responsibility as well as reliability, accuracy and discretion

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 36.045,52 p.a. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
