PALFINGER INTERLOCK SYSTEM. Safe and sound With this new extendable outrigger safety system for which a patent is pending, PALFINGER is setting new safety standards. It is the most modern and convenient solution for securing the manual extendable outriggers on truck loading cranes. Along with automatic locking of the catch bolt, the outriggers are also secured by an arresting hook. The release lever is additionally secured by means of a retaining gate. The system impresses by virtue of its easy and convenient handling – it is released in one movement. On request the PALFINGER INTERLOCK SYSTEM can be fitted with a proximity switch to provide an acoustic or visual signal in the cab (as a warning of incorrect locking), which means that the PALFINGER INTERLOCK SYSTEM offers altogether up to four safety devices!
