PALFINGER has been working consistently for many years on the development of electronic systems. Safety and convenience
The PALFINGER radio remote control system is a remote control panel incorporating a display showing the capacity loading level of the crane with an overload indicator. PALFINGER has not only located the overload function directly on the control panel, in the form of an LED display, but also provides an indicator showing the current capacity loading level of the crane. In addition, an overload situation of the fly jib or the winch is indicated. The digital data transmission with check-back module (Can-Bus) between the crane and the control panel offers the crane operator the highest degree of safety and convenience. Regardless of the distance from which the crane is being controlled, the display integrated in the control panel informs the crane operator continuously about the loading capacity situation.

Modern electronics in the increasingly more complex crane system provide safety and convenience functions which make the crane operator's work easier and increase the efficiency of crane operation. With the aid of sophisticated control technology enormous forces can be deployed with fingertip sensitivity and pinpoint accuracy.

Using this radio remote control system a number of crane functions can be conveniently activated:

- the Active Oscillation Suppression system (AOS),
